Our Discover Lincoln project was a true marathon of Nebraska storytelling—fourteen days of filming across the city, capturing everything from local food and restaurants to parks, neighborhoods, and the excitement of a Husker game day. As the team who wrote, produced, and edited the entire piece, we were embedded in every stage of the process, shaping the story from the ground up.
We pushed through more than a few challenges along the way, including extreme summer heat and even a bout of Covid in the middle of production. In the end, the work was worth it—we walked away with a film that showcases Lincoln in all its beauty.

Lincoln, We Chose It was a tourism piece produced with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, led by Andy and Aaron. The film takes viewers inside the small businesses that give Lincoln its character, capturing the people, spaces, and everyday moments that make the city feel lived-in and personal. Filming throughout the community was an inspiring experience—each location offering its own story and sense of pride.
The creative spark for the piece came from a poem written by Sydni Rowen, painted as a mural on the wall of Turbine Flats. Its words became the emotional backbone of the film, shaping both the tone and message.
